The new product pitched as a recyclable, paper-based alternative to multi-laminate plastic structures used for long shelf-life products. One Barrier FibreCycle is the result of a collaboration between UPM, print equipment specialist Bobst and coatings firm Michelman.

These products are usually packaged in a variety of plastic laminates or plastic structures that are not recyclable.
